A KILLER WORKOUT FOR A STRONGER BIGGER CHEST & BACK
A big back not only symbolises strength but will make your entire body look larger, as a guy this is a positive illusion we want to create. If you want the Cobra back and currently suffer from ILS then here's a workout solution for you. OH and some serious upper chest mass as well, who doesn't want more of that?
Invisible Lat Syndrome (ILS), you know the guy who looks like he's carrying a wheel barrow when he walks but his back training consists of 3/4 rep chin-ups with a spot.
Here is my youngest trainee George who demostrates the workout. At 16 he can weighted chin 43kg, squat 125kg and Bench 97kg. Here's a recent hypertrophy workout I ran him through!
A1: Incline barbell press medium grip 5 x 8-10 @ 3010
A2: Weighted Dips 5 x 8-10 @ 3010
A3. High Incline dumbbell bench 40 Degrees 5 x 8-10 @ 3010
A5. Weighted Pull-Up 5 x 8@ 3010
A5: Chest supported dumbbell rows neutral grip 5 x 8 @ 3010
A6: KB shrugs 5 x 15 @ 2020
Complete all six exercises without rest then take a 2 minute break and repeat 5 times!
I like using tempos with beginners or general fitness peeps because it allows them to feel the muscle better, reduce joint stress and work time under tension. Try this out and watch your T-shirts start shrinking.
